What we provide

Life skills are the quiet building blocks of independence. Turning Point Forward helps residents practice the everyday abilities that make a home, a schedule, and a community feel manageable again.

Support is hands-on and respectful. Residents work at a pace that fits their starting point — from preparing meals and keeping a living space in order to communicating clearly, solving problems, and setting realistic goals.

The aim is confidence through repetition: skills that can travel with someone into the next home, job, and chapter.

What residents can work toward

Greater stability

Daily skills that make life feel less chaotic and more within reach.

Personal responsibility

Owning tasks, follow-through, and the habits that support a household.

Daily structure

Time management, routines, and a clearer sense of how a week can work.

Independent living skills

Cooking, household care, communication, and practical problem-solving.

Long-term goals

Goal setting that turns “someday” into a plan with next steps.
